The powersupply cable for Zabapos;s macbook has died.

This would be a good time to back everything up to time machine, send it in to get the screen repaired, and find a (relatively) cheap used macbook powersupply, rather than plonking down $50 for a new one.

However, in order to do so, weapos;d need to borrow a macbook powersupply (one of the magnetic ones) for long enough to back things up. Anybody have a powersupply we could use for a short while?

The alternatives would be to pull the harddrive, put it in an external case, and copy the data from that to another computer.

At least we have i4est and g4est for her to use in the meantime, so the worst case is lack of access to some of her info. It would be much preferred to back her data up before sending the computer off for repair, afterwards, we can install a large aftermarket hard drive and restore everything.

She has ripped so many CDs that there simply isnapos;t room for much of anything else on her macbook, so the expense of a harddrive upgrade is looming soon anyways.
